Cookie Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage technologies gkmixing.com uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.
This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
For questions, contact us at contact@gkmixing.com.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit.
We also use localStorage — a similar browser-based storage technology that saves data locally on your device but, unlike cookies, is never transmitted to any server.
Cookies can be:
- Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser
- Persistent cookies — remain on your device until they expire or you delete them
- First-party cookies — set directly by gkmixing.com
- Third-party cookies — set by external services we use (e.g. Google Analytics)
2. Storage Technologies We Use
We use two categories of storage: necessary local storage and analytics cookies.
2.1 — Necessary (Functional) Storage
The Website does not set any necessary cookies of its own. Your cookie consent preference is saved in your browser's localStorage — not as a cookie — underмthe key consentMode. This allows the banner to remember your choice so it doesмnot reappear on every visit.
The key consentMode is stored in localStorage (not a cookie) by the cookie consent banner. It saves your accepted or rejected consent preferences and has no expiry date — it persists until you clear your browser data.
Note: localStorage data is never transmitted to our servers. It exists only in your browser and is only readable by gkmixing.com.
Webflow, the platform this Website is built on, does not set any tracking or analytics cookies on your device by default.
2.2 — Analytics Cookies (Consent Required)
These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 and are only placed on your device after you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner. If you decline, none of the cookies below are set.
All four cookies are set by Google Analytics. _ga assigns a unique anonymous ID to identify returning visitors and expires after 2 years. _ga_<container-id> persists session state for this GA4 property and also expires after 2 years. _gid handles short-term visitor identification, is refreshed daily, and expires after 24 hours. _gat / _dc_gtm_<id> throttles the rate of data requests to Google's servers and expires after 1 minute.
Important notes:
- IP addresses are anonymised before storage — Google does not receive your full IP.
- These cookies collect data about your behaviour on this Website only. They are not used for advertising and do not track you across other websites.
- Google Analytics is configured with a 14-month data retention period, after which event-level data is automatically deleted from Google's servers.
- Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).
2.3 — Advertising Cookies
We do not currently use advertising cookies or any tracking pixels. If this
changes, this policy will be updated before any such cookies are activated.
3. Managing Your Preferences
Via our cookie banner
You can accept or decline analytics cookies when you first visit the Website. You can change your preference at any time by clicking the cookie settings icon visible on the Website. Your choice is saved in your browser's localStorage and applies immediately.
Via your browser
Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function. Browser guides:
To clear localStorage specifically, go to your browser's DevTools → Application → Local Storage → gkmixing.com → delete the consentMode entry. The cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.
Via Google's opt-out tool
You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits across all websites by installing the
Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

Privacy Policy
Last Updated: April 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Individual Entrepreneur Gleb Karpovich ("we," "us," "our"), operating gkmixing.com (the "Website"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you visit the Website or engage our services.
If you have any questions, contact us at contact@gkmixing.com.
1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data
Data Controller:
Individual Entrepreneur Gleb Karpovich
Georgia
contact@gkmixing.com
https://www.gkmixing.com
We are a sole-operator business. We do not have dedicated data infrastructure — we do not operate databases or CRM systems. Personal data we hold exists in three places only: our email inbox, our contact form (hosted by Webflow), and anonymised analytics data collected by Google Analytics. Each is described in detail below.
2. What Data We Collect and Why
2.1 — Contact Form (Webflow)
What: When you submit our contact form, Webflow collects and temporarily stores your name, email address, and the content of your message.
Why: To respond to your inquiry and, if you proceed, to fulfil the service contract between us.
Legal basis: Legitimate interest (pre-contractual enquiry) and, once a project begins, performance of a contract.
Processor: Webflow, Inc. (see §5). Form submission data is stored on Webflow's servers and forwarded to our email inbox. We do not use Webflow's backend as a long-term data store.
2.2 — Email Correspondence
What: When you email us directly, or when we correspond with you about a project, your name, email address, and the content of our exchange are stored in our email inbox.
Why: This is ordinary professional correspondence necessary to deliver the services you requested. We do not store this in any database, CRM, or third-party tool — it stays in our inbox like any correspondence between two people.
Legal basis: Performance of a contract, or legitimate interest for pre-contractual communications.
Retention: We retain project-related correspondence for up to one year after project completion, after which it is deleted or archived locally with restricted access.
2.3 — Google Analytics
What: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) automatically collects the following when you visit the Website:
- Anonymised IP address (the last octet is masked before storage)
- Device type, operating system, and browser
- Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path
- Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
- Referral source (how you found the Website)
This data is tied to a cookie identifier, not to your name or email.
Why: To understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve its content and performance.
Legal basis: Consent. This data is only collected if you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner.
Data retention: GA4 is configured to retain event-level data for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.
Processor: Google LLC (see §5). Analytics data is transferred to and processed on Google's servers, including in the United States.
Opt-out: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our Website, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.
3. What We Do Not Do
To be explicit about the limits of our data use:
- We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data to any third party.
- We do not use your contact details for unsolicited marketing without your explicit consent.
- We do not use any CRM, marketing automation platform, or subscriber list management tool.
- We do not currently use advertising cookies or tracking pixels of any kind. If this changes, this policy will be updated before any such tools are activated.
4. Cookies
We use two categories of cookies:
Necessary cookies are required for the website to function (Webflow session, cookie banner preference) and don't require your consent.
Analytics cookies (Google Analytics 4) track anonymised usage data and are only set with your consent.
You can manage or withdraw your cookie consent at any time using the cookie settings accessible via the icon at the bottom of the Website.
For full details, see our Cookie Policy.
5. Third-Party Processors
We use the following third-party services that may process personal data on our behalf:

- Role: Website hosting and contact form
- Data processed: Website visitor data, contact form submissions
- Location: United States (AWS infrastructure)
- Safeguards: EU Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs); Data Processing Agreement in place

We do not use any other third-party data processors. In particular, we do not use HubSpot or any similar CRM or marketing platform.
6. International Data Transfers
Both Webflow and Google are US-based companies. When your data is transferred to the US, the transfer is protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission, which provide an equivalent level of protection for your personal data.
7. Your Rights
Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Correction: Request that we correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

If you are located in the EU/EEA and believe we have not handled your data correctly, you have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
8. Data Security
We take reasonable precautions to protect your personal data:
- The Website is hosted on Webflow's secure infrastructure (HTTPS enforced)
- Email correspondence is held in a password-protected inbox with two-factor authentication enabled
- We do not store client files or personal data on shared or unencrypted drives
- Project files are retained locally for up to one year after project completion, then deleted
No method of data transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but will notify you without undue delay if a data breach affecting your personal data occurs.
9. Children's Privacy
Our services are intended for adults aged 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18. If you believe a minor has submitted data to us, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
10. Changes to This Policy
