Privacy Policy

Last Updated: June 2026

This Privacy Policy explains how Individual Entrepreneur Gleb Karpovich (“we,” “us,” “our”), operating gkmixing.com (the “Website”), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you visit the Website or engage our services.

If you have any questions, contact us at contact@gkmixing.com.

1. Who Is Responsible for Your Data

Data Controller:
Individual Entrepreneur Gleb Karpovich
Tbilisi, Georgia
contact@gkmixing.com
https://www.gkmixing.com

We are a sole-operator business. We do not operate a client CRM or marketing mailing list. Personal data may be processed through our email inbox, website hosting on Vercel, website forms processed by Web3Forms and protected by hCaptcha, analytics tools, and advertising/measurement tools. Each is described in detail below.

2. What Data We Collect and Why

2.1 — Website Forms (Web3Forms)

What: When you submit a website form, Web3Forms processes your name, email address, and the content of your message, including any project details or file links you provide.

Why: To respond to your inquiry and, if you proceed, to fulfil the service contract between us.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest (pre-contractual enquiry) and, once a project begins, performance of a contract.

Processor: Web3Forms (see §5). Form submission data is processed by Web3Forms and forwarded to our email inbox. We do not use Web3Forms as a long-term data store.

Spam protection: We use hCaptcha on website forms to help prevent automated spam submissions.

2.2 — Email Correspondence

What: When you email us directly, or when we correspond with you about a project, your name, email address, and the content of our exchange are stored in our email inbox.

Why: This is ordinary professional correspondence necessary to deliver the services you requested. We do not store this in any database, CRM, or third-party tool — it stays in our inbox like any correspondence between two people.

Legal basis: Performance of a contract, or legitimate interest for pre-contractual communications.

Retention: We retain project-related correspondence for up to one year after project completion, after which it is deleted or archived locally with restricted access.

2.3 — Website Hosting (Vercel)

What: When you visit the Website, our hosting provider Vercel may process technical request data such as your IP address, browser type, device information, requested page, referral URL, and date/time of the request.

Why: To deliver the Website, keep it secure, diagnose errors, and maintain performance.

Legal basis: Legitimate interest in operating a secure and reliable Website.

Processor: Vercel Inc. (see §5). Hosting data may be processed through Vercel’s global infrastructure.

2.4 — Google Analytics

What: Google Analytics 4 (GA4) automatically collects the following when you visit the Website:

  • Anonymised IP address (the last octet is masked before storage)
  • Device type, operating system, and browser
  • Pages visited, time on page, and navigation path
  • Approximate geographic location (country/city level)
  • Referral source (how you found the Website)

This data is tied to a cookie identifier, not to your name or email.

Why: To understand how visitors use the Website so we can improve its content and performance.

Legal basis: Consent. This data is only collected if you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner.

Data retention: GA4 is configured to retain event-level data for 14 months, after which it is automatically deleted by Google.

Processor: Google LLC (see §5). Analytics data is transferred to and processed on Google’s servers, including in the United States.

Opt-out: You can withdraw your consent at any time via the cookie settings on our Website, or by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

2.5 — Advertising and Conversion Measurement

If you accept advertising cookies, we may use Google Ads tags and Meta Pixel to measure ad performance, understand whether ads lead to enquiries, and create or measure advertising audiences.

What: These tools may collect page views, clicks, approximate location, device/browser information, cookie identifiers, referral data, and conversion events such as visiting a thank-you page after submitting a form. We do not intentionally send message contents, stem links, or other free-text form contents to advertising platforms.

Why: To measure whether advertising works, improve campaigns, avoid showing irrelevant ads where possible, and understand the performance of our Website.

Legal basis: Consent. Advertising cookies and pixels are only used if you accept advertising cookies via our cookie banner.

Processors / platforms: Google LLC and Meta Platforms (see §5). Data may be processed on their servers, including in the United States.

This Cookie Policy explains what cookies and similar browser storage technologies gkmixing.com uses, why we use them, and how you can control them.

This policy should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.

For questions, contact us at contact@gkmixing.com.

1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files placed on your device (computer, phone, or tablet) when you visit a website. They allow the website to recognise your device and remember certain information about your visit.

We also use localStorage — a similar browser-based storage technology that saves data locally on your device but, unlike cookies, is never transmitted to any server.

Cookies and similar technologies can be:

  • Session cookies — deleted automatically when you close your browser
  • Persistent cookies — remain on your device until they expire or you delete them
  • First-party cookies — set directly by gkmixing.com
  • Third-party cookies — set by external services we use (for example Google Analytics, Google Ads, Meta Pixel, and hCaptcha)
  • Pixels or tags — small snippets of code that send event data to analytics or advertising platforms

2. Storage Technologies We Use

We use three categories of storage: necessary local storage, analytics cookies, and advertising cookies/pixels.

2.1 — Necessary (Functional) Storage

The Website does not set any necessary cookies of its own. Your cookie consent preference is saved in your browser’s localStorage — not as a cookie — under the key consentMode. This allows the banner to remember your choice so it does not reappear on every visit.

The key consentMode is stored in localStorage (not a cookie) by the cookie consent banner. It saves your accepted or rejected consent preferences and has no expiry date — it persists until you clear your browser data.

Note: localStorage data is never transmitted to our servers. It exists only in your browser and is only readable by gkmixing.com.

This Website does not set analytics or advertising cookies on your device by default.

These cookies are set by Google Analytics 4 and are only placed on your device after you accept analytics cookies via our cookie banner. If you decline, none of the cookies below are set by us.

All four cookies are set by Google Analytics:

CookiePurposeDuration
_gaAssigns a unique anonymous ID to identify returning visitors2 years
_ga_<container-id>Persists session state for this GA4 property2 years
_gidHandles short-term visitor identification and is refreshed daily24 hours
_gat / _dc_gtm_<id>Throttles the rate of data requests to Google’s servers1 minute

Important notes:

  • IP addresses are anonymised before storage — Google does not receive your full IP.
  • These cookies collect data about your behaviour on this Website so we can understand site performance and usage.
  • Google Analytics is configured with a 14-month data retention period, after which event-level data is automatically deleted from Google’s servers.
  • Analytics data is processed by Google LLC and may be transferred to servers in the United States, protected by Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs).

These cookies and pixels are only used after you accept advertising cookies via our cookie banner. They may be set by Google Ads and Meta Pixel to measure conversions, understand ad performance, and support advertising audiences.

Common advertising cookies and identifiers may include:

Cookie / technologyProviderPurposeTypical duration
_gcl_auGoogle Ads / Google TagStores ad click and conversion informationUp to 90 days
_gcl_aw / _gcl_dcGoogle AdsLinks ad clicks to conversionsUp to 90 days
IDE / test_cookieGoogle / DoubleClickAd measurement, fraud prevention, and checking whether cookies are supportedVaries by cookie
_fbpMeta PixelIdentifies browsers for ad measurement and analyticsUp to 3 months
_fbcMeta PixelStores Facebook click identifiers when a visitor arrives from a Facebook or Instagram adUp to 3 months

Advertising platforms may combine event data from this Website with information they already hold, depending on your settings with those platforms.

3. Managing Your Preferences

You can accept or decline analytics and advertising cookies when you first visit the Website. You can change your preference at any time by clicking the cookie settings button in the Website footer. Your choice is saved in your browser’s localStorage and applies immediately.

Via your browser

Most browsers allow you to view, block, or delete cookies through their settings. Note that blocking all cookies may affect how some websites function. Browser guides:

To clear localStorage specifically, go to your browser’s DevTools → Application → Local Storage → gkmixing.com → delete the consentMode entry. The cookie banner will reappear on your next visit.

Via Google and Meta privacy controls

You can prevent Google Analytics from collecting data about your visits across all websites by installing the Google Analytics Opt-Out Browser Add-on.

You can also manage personalized Google ads through Google My Ad Center and Meta ad preferences through your Facebook or Instagram privacy/ad settings.

5. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy when we add or remove services that use cookies or similar storage technologies. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date.
